Основателка на групата Rosenquarzexpress и автор на музиката и текстовете е Илияна Бешкова. През последните години Илияна представя музиката и текстовете си като one woman show = китара, глас и луупове. Възникнала в Германия през 2011 година, Rosenquarzexpress има различни превъплъщения (различни музиканти, както и солов вариант) и е пропътувала цяла Централна и Източна Европа, като най-чести са концертите в България, Германия, Чехия и Гърция.
Музикалният стил може да бъде определен като психеделичен дрийм-поп-рок и блус, ню- и даркуейв, ембиънт и дори балкански фолклор, без обаче да губи оригиналността си и да изпада в жанрови клишета. Текстовете също са смес от различни езици, истинска Вавилонска кула (български, английски, немски.., понякога руски, да се надяваме скоро и чешки език).

Formed as a music adventure by Iliana Beshkova (Sofia, Munich) in order to survive in the wealthy City of Munich Rosenquarzexpress is already a band, which travels a lot and playing regularly concerts.
Rosenquarzexpress functions both as a one woman show – Iliana Beshkova – guitar, vocals, loopers or as a whole band including Pavel Stoychev (Artmospheric Crew, Surbahar) – drums, percussion, Mirian Kolev (E.U.E.R.P.I.)- guitars and Vladi Mihaylov (Ginger Groove) – bass, contrabass.
„Hristo Botev“, Bulgarian Nationalradio: “ The music of Iliana Beshkova is authentic and has no equivalence in the contemporary Bulgarian scene. The music style touches the psychedelic pop-rock and blues, the new- and dark wave as well as the ambient and the Balkan folklore, without losing its genuine character or slip into clichés. The lyrics of the band are also a kind of intercultural bridge, even on the language level (Bulgarian, English, German- sometimes within one song) and besides their artistically qualities possess also a documental value by its ironic and poetic- metaphorical comments about the destiny of the thinking human in the contemporary, global world.“
Rosenquarzexpress has already played at many festivals and clubs in Germany, Bulgaria, Greece and Macedonia and in January 2017 did a tour in eastern Europe and Russia.
In the short time the band has been around, it has already had numerous live gigs with worldwide known bands such as Hugo Race Fatalists (ex-The Bad Seeds), No Joy (Canada), Dirty Beaches (Canada), Featuring Yourself (Germany), Monozid (Germany), Zea (Netherlands) etc.
Acc. to magazine LIK, the August 2012 issue: „In brief, this is music composed by a Bulgarian singer-songwriter, ahead of the Bulgarian underground scene by decades.“ But Iliana Beshkova simply replies: „I just don’t want to be bored and musicless.“
