Фестивал на северното кино “Северно сияние 2013″ / Cinema of the North Festival ” Northern Lights 2013″


Фестивалът “Северно сияние ” е един от четирите фестивала на компания ” Позор ” фокусиран върху скандинавското и прибалтийско кино.Провежда се за пета година и тазгодишното издание ще покаже селекция от Дания, Норвегия, Финландия, Швеция и Литва. За първа година част от филмите ще могат да бъдат видяни във Велико Търново. Прожекциите ще са от 18:00 и 20:00 часа, от 4-ти до 6-ти септември в клуб “ТАМ”с вход на прожекция 3лв

“The festival “Northern Lights ” is one of the four festivals of the company “Pozor”  focused  on the Scandinavian and Baltic cinema. It has been organised for 5 years and this year, it will present a selection from Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Lithuania. For first time films can be seen in Veliko Tarnovo. Screenings are at 6pm and 8pm, from 4th to 6th of October in club “TAM” with an entrance fee of 3lv.”

Jan Olav is struck as if by lightning the first time he sees the Orange Girl, and is sure he has found the love of his life. Georg has love served on a silver platter under a magic Easter sky in the Norwegian mountains, but he has difficulties understanding his own feelings, grasping what is happening to him.

8 pm – The Snow Cave Man

The « Snow Cave Man » has lived in caves high up in the icy Norwegian mountains for 30 years. Like Nietzsche’s Zarathustra, he has developed his own morale code and a biting sense of humour. His life among the blizzards and reindeer is far from the materialistic modern Scandinavian welfare state. When The Snow Cave Man receives the news that his mother has died, he also inherits her apartment in the city, but on the condition that he settles down like a normal person. The film centers on the quest for liberty and the human cost of complete freedom.

Soon, their psychic meetings turn into a romantic, sexually charged relationship set against the backdrop of surreal dreamscapes created by their collective minds.

The three of them find they share a common dream, and together they embark on a journey of love, hate and trust.
